Start the week with movement! We gather together from all over the map.
This class offers a time to slow down and sense into the wisdom of you own body in relation with Earth and Sky. We will play with gentle curious scores for exploration, in solitudes and in relation with one another, listening in for what is real and true in the moment and giving form to that flow.
Stretch out into the tides of breath, the play of rise and fall, expansion and release. Find your own edge and play that with your breath and your bones. This class offers a time to connect to your own creative wellspring, a place that exists within all living beings.
Each class begins with a time to arrive in movement and metaphor, followed by some somatic movement inquiries, woven with pockets of stillness and creative reflection, some movement passages, and ending together again in stillness. We may reflect on the unfolding currents through some in writing, simple image making, word play, or movement.
This class helps deepen and unfold embodied courage, relaxation, connection, and ease, exuberance and the magic of simple real. Soul Motion brings an interior intimacy and a soft freedom in togetherness.

Is this a drop-in class?
You can come for one class, for every class, or some classes. You can pay per class or purchase a class card of 4 or 8 classes for dates that fit for you.
How do I prepare in advance?
Choose a space that feels comfortable for you to move in. This could be a private room, your living room, or your kitchen - anywhere that feels okay for you for movement.
Dress in layers of clothing that feels good for movement for you.
Have some water or a warm beverage near by.
It can be helpful to have a blanket, yoga mat, or cushion for practices on the floor. Spending time on the floor in movement can be incredibly pleasurable, comforting, and restorative.
I have injuries, pain, low energy, movement worries or fears, anxiety about being in groups; can I attend?
Yes! This is a wonderful class for you to attend. All somatic and movement inquiries offer an infinite range of possibilities for engaging, and freedom of choice based on your needs and preferences around movement is welcome. You can participate in the class while sitting in a chair, moving through the room, laying on the floor, or in a bed. This class offers community and connection that is gentle, spacious, where there is no requirement for eye contact or verbal sharing
Each class will have an opening and a closing circle, when brief sharing of words or movements may be invited.
Some classes will include art making or reflective writing, and brief sharing may be invited.
