Impermanence calls to an unwavering motion and repositioning of form as it ebbs and flows consistently into an unknown, a barely identifiable mystery of the moment being revealed again and again. rather than think about something not lasting we view the forms as ever present restating and reintroduction in myriad ways.
on the dancing floor it calls for courage to wade in the deep waters of uncertainty. what arises is not predetermined. the dancing person becomes adept at adjusting the elements of distance, flow, energetic connection, deep listening, micro-movements, and grounding statements of call and response in order to respond to the changing calls.
this viewing of impermanence will add surprise and suspense to the dancing bodies and a novel notion of what is being danced.
